Born in 1947 in England,  Dale arrived the next year in Hamilton, Ontario Canada. In 1956 the school art inspector entered one of her paintings in an international art competition where she won first prize, and at the inspector's support, she went on to study with the internationally renowned artist Juanita Le Barre Symington. Always a fan of westerns, at age 12 she sent a portrait of her favourite stars, Trigger and Bullet, to Roy Rogers as a gift. He loved it and invited her to the ranch. After that the orders began pouring in from the rich and famous. Dale became a child celebrity of sorts! Tiring of the constant pressure of shows and travel she disappeared into the world of commercial art at age 25. Dale retired to Flinton, Ontario where she picked up where she left off and went back to her first love, fine art painting. After many years Dale moved to Nova Scotia.

Dale's works can be found in many collections including Roy Rogers, Ronald Reagan, Roddy McDowall, former Vice Premier Robert Welch, The Royal Gallery in London, England, Sir Henry Burgoyn, The St. Catherines Standard, Stelco, The Hamilton Spectator and the former Toronto Telegram.
