We have been shipping worldwide for a long time and have become experts at shipping fragile fine art. If we feel a piece is fragile, it will require a custom plywood crate that we will have made for you. The cost of the crate varies depending on size: S-M $40, M-L $60, L-XL $80, XXL $100. The cost of the crate will be included in the retail price of the piece and will be explained in the description of the piece.
A piece that is not deemed fragile will be wrapped in tissue paper and either placed in between styrofoam or bubble wrap. It will then be packed in a secure, thick cardboard box.
If the piece is fragile, it will be wrapped in the same manner as a non fragile piece, but with a lot more bubble wrap. It is then safely packed into the custom crate and then screwed shut for safest travel.
If the piece is somehow lost or damaged beyond repair, due to error by the chosen shipping company, then we will file a claim to the courier company for reimbursement. In order to submit a claim, we will need you to send images of the damage so we can submit it to the courier. We will then provide you a full refund for your damaged piece.
If the piece is lost due to error of the shipping company, we will start an investigation to find the missing piece. If it is deemed by the courier untraceable, then we will file a claim following the same procedure listed above.
Shipping is calculated at checkout after entering your mailing address. Based on the dimensions of the piece and the weight, shipping is calculated, showing prices for UPS and Canada Post.
If the shipment is international, customs and duties may apply and the cost is your responsibility. Check with your country's customs/border website for information specific to shipping art into your country.
If you have any questions regarding our shipping policies and procedures, please send your questions, comments or concerns to email@example.com.
Please Note: Depending on the country the art is being shipped to, the shipping options may vary at checkout.
